Automated Facility Weather Alert: Testing

Weather tests execute the integrations action directly bypassing the trigger conditions. This allows you to verify the templates, user searches, etc. without having to what for an actual weather event.

Testing the action will send an actual alert when the live mode is enabled.

  1. From the Integrations view click on the weather integration to test
  2. Use the Test Action button in the upper right corner to open the testing dialog.
  3. From the Test Events drop down select the weather you would like to test with.
  4. Use the Builder to adjust the test weather event.
    1. The test event has prefixed the weather headline, description and instructions with a test message to avoid confusion of the alert was accidently sent out.
