Product Updates for April 25, 2022

New Features and Functionality

  • Automatic voice translation support has been added for alerts.

    • When an administrator sends a voice alert, the alert will be translated into the selected recipients preferred spoken language.

    • Citizens can choose their preferred spoken language while signing up to receive public notifications.
    • Administrators can also set a user's preferred spoken language from the Manage Contacts page. 
    • Automatic voice translation requires clients to have this feature enabled.

Improvements and Optimizations

  • Resolved an issue that was causing pictures included in an alert to sometimes display incorrectly when accessed from a text link on a mobile device.
