myAlerts App Release v2.25.4 - December 15, 2025

Release Notes - December 15, 2025

We’re pleased to share significant improvements to the myAlerts app, enhancing its reliability, speed, and overall user experience.

Enhanced Performance & Reliability

We've implemented a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to store and distribute alerts more efficiently. This means during high-volume emergency events, when timely notifications matter most, the system can handle significantly more users without slowdowns. Both iOS and Android apps will receive alert information from the CDN, ensuring more reliable alert delivery, even during peak demand.

Behind the scenes, we've optimized our database operations and core processing logic, resulting in better performance, more consistent alert delivery, and reduced server load.

Improved Weather Coverage

We've updated our weather zone data and geographic processing capabilities, enabling faster viewing of alert polygons. These improvements ensure smoother map rendering and a better visual representation of affected areas.

Updated User Experience

Non-time-sensitive operations now run in the background, keeping the app responsive even when processing multiple tasks. We've also strengthened error handling on both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring users receive clear feedback if any issues occur.

What This Means for You

These improvements translate to more reliable emergency notifications for your community, even during the most critical events, when system demands are highest.
