      Secure Chat

      This article explains how to create a secure chat using Konexus' mobile app.

      Create a Secure Chat

      Only administrators with the Initiate Chat permission will be able to utilize this feature.  Tenants with Secure Chat will be able to invite mobile app users to join a chat even if they do not have permission to initiate a chat.  If a user has not onboarded to use the mobile app, they will not show as an available contact to add to a chat.

          1. From the drawer menu, select Secure Chat.
          2. Tap the image-png-Mar-02-2021-12-43-20-09-AM icon in the top right to create a new chat conversation.
          3. Select the size of the chat.
            • < 100 has read receipts enabled


      Select Recipients

            1. Recipients can be added via groups or contacts, like an alert or poll.

      Write Message

      1. Confirm the details and tap Create in the top right corner.
      2. Start messaging.
        • By tapping the + icon, users can share their location, images, and videos.
