Improvements and Optimizations
- Both (Android and iOS):
A warning message has been added to the Message Customization section for SMS text messages that exceed 320 characters in length. The message reads, "320 characters or less is recommended for best deliverability and experience. Additionally, your account may have limitations on how many SMS segments can be sent per year (1 segment = 160 characters)."
- Both (Android and iOS):
The ability to disable the ability to 'Reply All' to an alert has been added. When the ‘Disable Reply All’ field is present when creating an alert, 'Reply All' functionality can be optionally disabled for the alert being created. Recipients will still have access to 'Reply' and 'Forward' options on alerts that are marked with 'Reply All' disabled.
- Both (Android and iOS):
In order to help clients comply with FCC rules regarding emergency voice calls, we have added a confirmation dialog specific to Emergency Telephone Notification (ETN) alerts. When an alert is sent using a template that includes ETN recipients, an informational message will be displayed, and the alert sender must explicitly acknowledge the message to proceed.
