Product Updates - November 2023

- A new permission was added that restricts an IPAWS user to creating and managing templates, without the ability to send alerts.
- The ability to mark all messages as read has been added to the Alerts Received page in the web application.
- Fixed a bug where SMTP alerts sent from our legacy application were not being delivered to citizens who had texted a keyword to join a group.

- Administrators now have the flexibility to choose a customized alert or poll form during the template creation process. This empowers the template creator to initiate the creation of a new template with a specific configuration. By clicking 'Modify Template Form' during the template creation process, the new 'Select Fields from Form' button will be revealed.

- Users now have the option to filter and display only 'Unread' alerts and polls on the Alerts Received page of the web application.
- Fixed a bug that occasionally resulted in the incorrect display of date/time in the 'Original Message' section of a reply all, reply, or forwarded alert.
- Fixed an issue where administrators occasionally couldn't view contacts they had created. Administrators who are restricted to at least one group must now add any new contacts they create to at least one of these groups.
- Users now have the option to sign up for alerts through the Sign Up form without providing a first name or last name, provided that the form is configured to not require a name.

- Roles that are assigned to at least one administrator can no longer be deleted. In order to delete a role, there must be no administrators assigned to that role.

- Fixed a bug that prevented the Find Provider button from functioning when a user who received an email reminder to update their profile clicked it while updating their profile.
- The ability to delete all administrators at once has been removed from the Administrator Passwords page.

- We have added the option to include group membership when downloading contacts using the 'Member List Download' functionality.

- Fixed a bug that was causing administrators without 'Role Management' permission to be unable to create new administrators.
- For clients with split directory permission, for administrators with the ability to manage contacts, the Public Contacts and Public Groups menu items will now be restricted to administrators who are authorized to send alerts to public contacts.
